YOU SHOULD BE A STUDENT or have a very good reason for which you are doing nothing now. Priority will be given to existing students or very recent graduates.
AN ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT OF WORKING FOR VISION FINANCE IS THAT YOU HAVE VISION.
Full time positions available from March 2011.
Internships targeted at students available from 11th March - 11th June (part time of 20hours a week)
Full time and well priced summer internships will be offered to the best best interns.
WHAT SKILLS WE NEED:
1. IT PERSON (three)
- maintenance of websites, graphic design, using productivity tools, flash, some programming, rss feeds, basically making this website and our facebook page into a leading financial tool. All ideas will be provided to you on application.
- experience is essential, ideally documented by other projects
2. INDUSTRY ANALYSTS (team of twenty)
- analysts who are able to think smartly, critically. No need for prior experience, we will teach you everything.
- you need to know how to use internet, computer, powerpoint, excel, word, and need to know how to use it well. Ability to research information off the web is essential.
- areas to cover include: telecoms, technology, media, airlines,airports, infrastructure, power, oil, mining, refining, food and beverage, retail, real estate and hotels, sovereigns, pharma, biotechs, industrial 1 / 2 /3 and others
3. MATHEMATICS / PHYSICS STUDENTS (two to start with)
- you must know programming, be familiar with optimisation and excel, including VBA, C++, perhaps some math-lab
- no experience needed - you will be tought everything to become a leading quants in the business
- please do not apply if you are a theoretical only. we need you to be a combination of mathematics and a computer software knowledge
4. LAW STUDENT (one)
- no certified qualification needed
- we will teach you how to draft and modify some of the worlds most advanced legal documents
- you will be liasing with many of the worlds best law firms
- you will work on multi million deal transactions from sovereign deals, to commodities transactions
5. ECONOMISTS (variable number)
- conduct economic country overview and research on some 127 countries of the Emerging Markets and key international markets
